What is flash storage in mac?

3. Now remove the glue from the screen and take it off frame

4. Locate the flash storage drive. It will be a small rectangular silver component near the center of the motherboard.

5. Carefully disconnect the cables from the flash storage drive.

6. Carefully remove the old flash storage drive.

7. Insert the new flash storage drive into the empty slot and screw it in place.
8. Reconnect the cables to the new flash storage drive.

9. Reattach the screen to the iMac.

10. Power on your iMac.

Your iMac should now be running on the new flash storage drive. You can also use a hard drive alongside the flash drive. That way, you can have dual storage. Now you have two storage media in the Mac.
