 You are at the work or may be on vacation and you want to get into your computer or vice versa, What now? You can not go back sometime and you need to file quickly sometime. Windows 10 allow the remote login into another Laptop. Here we will help you with that. 


First, open the command prompt by searching it in the start menu.


Now type the following command and press enter. This command is used to check whether the remote desktop connection is enabled or not in the computer you want to connect to.


reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_LaptopHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server" /v fDenyTSConnections


If the value is 0, then the RDP connection is enabled, and you can go ahead with the next steps. If the value is 1, then you need to change it to 0 to enable the RDP connection. To do this, type the following command and press Enter.


reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_LaptopHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server" /v fDenyTSConnections /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f


Now you need to restart the computer to apply the changes.


After restarting the computer, open the command prompt again and type the following command. This command will find the IP address of the computer you want to connect to.


iLaptoponfig


Take note of the IPv4 Address of the computer now open the Remote Desktop Connection application. You can find it by searching for it in the start menu.


In the Remote Desktop Connection application, type in the IPv4 address of the computer you want to connect to in the Computer field and click Connect.


You will now be asked for the username and password of the account you want to login to. Enter the credentials and click OK.


You are now logged in to the remote computer.
