Dallas, Texas Laptop USB / Flash Drive Does Not Read

You have the flash drive, and you try to plug it into your computer and it does not read, it could be due to a bad port, a corrupted flash drive, or an unsupported format.


One thing that you can try is to format the drive. This will erase all of the data on the drive, so make sure that you back up any important files first. To format the drive, follow these steps:


- Plug the flash drive into your computer.

- Right-click on the drive and select "Format."

- Choose the "FAT32" file system and leave the allocation unit size at the default value.

- Click "Start" to format the drive.


You can try the following things to diagnose this issue.

1. First, restart your computer. This can often fix temporary software glitches that can cause problems like this.


2. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling your camera's software. This will usually fix any software corruptions that may be causing the issue.


3. Try plugging the camera into the different USB port. 

4. Check if there is any physical bottom


5. Reinstall the camera driver and see if it works. 


How to reinstall the driver in windows?


1. Go to "Control Panel"


2. Click on "Device Manager"


3. Find your USB devices


4. Right-click on your device and click "Uninstall"


5. Restart your computer


6. Connect your flash drive to your computer


7. Windows will automatically install the driver for your usb drive
